Ok Tedi’s January announcement sets out feasibility and permitting in 2026–2027, followed by construction and a production target towards 2030. Detailed exploration, environmental and social studies, and regulatory approvals form part of the path to reopening.

The release’s construction-stage heading and detailed dates differ, so we do not present a fixed construction start date here. The production date remains a company target, dependent on the project progressing.
